1863, taxierter Porto-Brief mit blauem “CONSTANTINOPEL 16-9” an den Vizeconsul der Niederland nach Andrinople, taxiert “9” Piaster (60 Soldi, 3er-Gewichtsstufe), gute Erhaltung, sowie ein zweiter Umschlag aus derselben Korrespondenz mit schwarzem “CONSTANTINOPEL7-3", taxiert “3” Piaster (20 Soldi), kleine Knitterspuren und leichte Transportspuren, sonst in guter Erhaltung. Ein seltenes Duo

Ganzsachenkarte 20 Pa. a. 5 Kr. mit alleiniger Entwertung durch Ra3 “PIROSCAFI POSTALI ITALIANI” bedarfsgebraucht nach Basel mit Ankuntsstempel. Unauffällige leichte Schürfung.

1876-83, 10 sld. blue Franz Josef, Fine Print, horizontal strip of three, tied to small piece by two strikes of Filipopoli c.d.s. fresh colour, a scarce multiple.

1858, Faltbrief von Burgas nach Tzarigrad (Konstantinopel), mit sauber aufgesetztem Ovalstempel “AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / BURGAS” in blau-schwarz (Tchilinghirian fig. 935), ein schöner Brief mit seltener Entwertung, ex Hitzler

1870 (August 24), folded letter to Vienna, franked with Austrian Levant 15 sld. brown, Coarse Print, tied by Filipopoli c.d.s., with c.d.s. arrival backstamp (2 Sep), quite fresh, a desirable single franking. 

1867, Kaiser Franz Josef 15 So. braun, sauber mit “LLOYD AGENZIE CONSTANTINOPEL 5-12” sowie nebengesetztem ovalen “Via di Mare” (Van der Linden-Nr. 2924) auf Faltbrief nach Triest mit rückseitigem Ankunftsstempeln “TRIEST 11 12 74”; die Marke kurzer Zahn, der Brief wurde gereinigt und weist oben einen kleinen geschlossenen Riss, sonst in guter Erhaltung. Eine seltene Verwendung, signiert Sorani

1879 (February 4), 10 sld. blue Franz Josef, tied to folded letter to Marseille by Filipopoli c.d.s., reverse with red Geneva c.d.s. transit (14 Feb), next-day red “Suisse / Marseille” French entry mark on front, and same-day Marseille c.d.s. arrival backstamp, some light toning to stamp and the odd spot on cover, else a fine single franking.

1888 (January 29), 20pa on 5kr postal stationery card, cancelled by choice Filippopel c.d.s., bold oval commercial sender's handstamp at left, to Vienna, with equally crisp c.d.s. receiver (22 Dec) on front, very fine.

1864, Portobrief mit “CONSTANTINOPEL 15 1” nach Genova, Königreich Italien, handschriftliche Taxierung 20/23, über Ancona mit “7” (Decimi) taxiert und mit rückseitigem Ankunftsstempel “GENOVA 2 FEB 64”. Ein attraktiver Brief in sehr guter Erhaltung

1879 (May 27), folded letter to Constantinople, franked with 10 sld. blue, Fine Print, tied by neatly-struck Filipopoli c.d.s., reverse with c.d.s. arrival backstamp (30 May), slight toning surrounding adhesive, else fine, signed Sorani.

1886 (31 December), 10pa on 3sld. Coat of Arms, tied to cover to Leipzig by Filipopoli c.d.s., reverse with Constantinople transit (3 Jan), Leipzig  c.d.s. receiver (7 Jan), a fresh and very fine single franking, paying the printed matter rate.

1884 (February 6), 5 sld. Franz Josef stationery card to Ancona, Italy, struck with Filippopel c.d.s., Constantinople c.d.s. transit (9 Feb) opposite, some light edge wear, but an uncommon destination.

1866, 17 Kr. rot mit blauem EKr. "OREAVA 31/3" (1867) auf komplettem Faltbrief nach Wien, in Alt-Orsova der österreichischen Post übergeben (vorderseitiger EKr.) und mit "10" Kreuzern in Rötel taxiert. Durch die Marke recht unauffälliger waagerechter Bug, sonst gute Erhaltung. Ein seltener Brief.

1879/1918, Ganzsachensammlung im Album mit Antwortkarten und Kartenbriefen, insgesamt über 60 Stück. Doppelzensurkarte nach Konstantinopel 1915 mit Bericht über das Kriegsgeschehen, meist gebraucht mit gesuchten Stempeln, dabei Gracanica, Samac, Tuzla-Doboj, Gorazda, Drvar, Trebinje, Foca, Livno und einige Feldpost.

1953, European Idea 4 fr. dull brown, die proof on thin laid paper, signed by the designer, Léon Janssens and dated '1953' at lower right, fine and scarce

1897, King Leopold II. 50 c. grey tied by cds. “BRUXELLES 19.DECE.03” to registered cover “Mandat de Poste International” to the post office in Dunkirk with arrival mark. The cover has creases at the margins, otherwise in good condition

1935, 50th anniversary 50 c.- 5 fr. imperforated with the right sheet margins, mint never hinged, very fine (COB 3500,-€)

1860 (June 22), folded letter from Plovdiv to Marseille, struck with Filipopoli despatch c.d.s., handstamped FRANCO in black and P.D. in red, French entry c.d.s. on front, reverse with Wien (28 Jun) and Paris (1 Jul) c.d.s., black Semlin disinfection handstamp, some minor staining in places, else fine; ex Hitzler.

1939/2004, mint never hinged collection, from 1939-45 except Mi.-Nr. 24-38 in the main catalogue numbers complete incl. postage due and e.g. Mi.-Nr. 1-8, Bl. 2U, Bl. 8 signed Wallner with Cert., minature sheets and progressive proofs, further some Slovenia and Czechoslovakia, good condition

1997, 1 nd., both stamps and both in gutter pairs, imperforated, without gum as issued, fine

1854, 16 sk. lilac, 2 copies, and 1858, 8 sk. green, one 16 sk. slightly touched, otherwise all clear to large margins and fresh colour, tied by no. "181" and duplex "182/SJAELL.POST.SPED.BUREAU 25/10 1859" to mourning cover to England. A fine and rare franking. Certificate Kaiser (1981)

1870/74, 16 sk. green/grey, two copies, with 4 sk. red/grey, tied by no. "51" with adjacent c.d.s. "ODENSE 18 2" (1872) to 2nd rate registered lettersheet (one side flap missing) to London, with frontside arrival mark. Tear in the stationary paper repaired, otherwise very fine. A scarce franking. Certificate Nielsen (1993)

1864, Large oval type, 2 sk. blue and 4 sk. red, tied by no. "3" with adjacent "K.D.P.A. LÜBECK 27/7" to lettersheet to Horsens, Denmark. Some minor toning, otherwise very fine.

1875/1964, unused and used Postal Stationery collection with hundreds, many interesting usages, together with a group of covers and stamps, mostly fine and expertly described on exhibition pages

3 sk. lilac, two horizontal pairs, used on ship letter with manuscript indication of origin "Lübeck", the franking cancelled in transit with no. "1" COPENHAGEN. A fine entire with the special Lübeck-Sweden rate.

1864, 16 sk. greenish dark grey and 2 sk. blue, tied by no. "1" to lettersheet from "KJOBENHAVN 27 11" to lettersheet to Leiden, Netherlands. Some minor toning, still fine.

1863, 16 sk. lilac in horizontal pair, with 1857, 8 sk. green and 1864, oval issue 4 sk. red, tied by no. "1" with adjacent c.d.s. "KJOBENHAVN 24 5 1864" to 2nd rate lettersheet to a prisoner of war in the fortress of Graudenz in Western Prussia. The right stamp of the pair with scissors cut at right, some minor transportation faults, still very fine and attractive. A very rare franking and interesting document of the Second Schleswig War. 1854/57, 8 sk. green, with 1864/70, 16 sk. olive, horizontal strip of 3 and three single stamps, and two copies 3 sk. lilac, tied by numeral "1" and partly by faint Kopenhagen cds., to lettersheet (side flaps missing) to St. Croix, Danish West Indies. A horizontal filing crease broken and thus one 3 sk. damaged, 2 further stamps small (filing) hole and some usual transportation marks. An outstanding franking.

1864, 2 sk. blue, 4 sk. red and 8 skilling ocre, tied by duplex "229/N.SJ.JB.P.B. 14/4"(1870) to letter sheet to London. Fine and attractive. Certificate Lasse Nielsen (2003). 

1864, 16 sk. olive and two copies 3 sk. lilac, all nice fresh colour, tied by duplex "39/KBH.JB.PSTCT 22 7" to letter sheet from Kopenhagen via Hamburg and Austria to Naples, Italy, at the special 22 sk. rate, effective September 1867 till September 1868. The left 3 sk. tiny crease in the upper left corner, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very fine and rare cover, according to certificate Moeller AIEP (2022) just one other letter at this rate has been recorded (with different franking) combination

1858/73, 3 covers with multiple frankings and cover with 3 colour-mixed franking to London, 2 with certificates

“GOTHIA” violetter L2 mit handschriftlichem Datum “16/4.98” auf Ansichtskarte mit Ziffer 3 C. mit Federstrich-Entwertung und nebengesetztem EKr. “AUS WESTINDIEN P.HAMBURG. DAMPFER ÜBER CÖLN” nach Hamburg mit Ankunftsstempel. Die Karte und die Marke mit Bug, ansonsten in guter Erhaltung

1873, 1 C. helklgrün/braunrot und waagerechtes Paar und Einzelmarke 3 C.blaugrau/rot mit kopfstehendem Rahmen je mit EKr. “ST. THOMAS 20.7.1897” auf Briefkuvert mit Absenderstempel “Hamburg American Packet Companay Westindia Line” und handschriftlichem Leitvermerk “per Royal Mail” sowie rückseitig mit Verschlussmarke der Gesellschaft nach Hamburg mit Ankunftsstempel. Die Marken haben zum Teil kleine Zahnfehler bzw. sind eckrund, die rechte Marke mit Eckfehler rechts oben. Trotz der Einschränkungen eine nicht häufige Frankatur-Kombination, rückseitig mit Stempel "From the Franklin D. Roosevelt Collection…."
